For centuries the kingdom of Easthaven has been led by the Oracles, a series of women chosen by the Triple Goddesses to receive visions of the future. Five years ago, the last Oracle passed away and twin oracles were revealed to take her place. Their divine nature recognized, the children were taken to the Palace to be raised in the ways of the Twin Goddesses whom they are believed to embody. Soon they will come of age and take their place as the leaders of Eashaven. The whole country is abuzz--some with excitement and others with mutiny. It's time to see where everyone stands, as war still rages on the Western border...

Jahnavi is tall and thin, with the body of a dancer. Her movements are just as smooth as her figure suggests, and she practices martial arts with the poise of a master. She even uses her dance to summon her spirit guard. Her eyes are as dark as her hair, and show none of her thoughts in their depths. Her height makes her stand out among the throngs of small women in the Sun Goddess's temple, but she doesn't seem to notice.
Personality Description:
She moves with grace, but her speech does not match. She speaks her mind with bruising harshness, and doesn't care whom she hurts in the process. She sees stupidity as the worst affliction on the planet, and believes that every person in Easthaven ought to be educated enough to read and pay attention to the political climate in the country. She refuses to consider marrying and having children, and won't join the temple either, although she truly enjoyed her time at Haiyang temple with the priestesses there. There were a few other summoners her age that she trained with, although they didn't like her much due to her superior facade. In reality, having been raised at the temple she simply doesn't understand how to behave in a group. She knows how to act like a priestess, how to fight, how to dance, but she couldn't tell you how to speak to a noble, how to make a friend, how to flirt. Instead she's convinced herself that she's better off without the family who abandoned her there, better off alone.
Religious Preferences: She believes that all the goddesses are as one, but she has a preference for the Sun Goddess avatar. She feels most in tune with the sunshine and its energy, and greets each morning with the Salute to the Sun yoga routine and meditation.

BIO
Jahnavi was orphaned at a young age, and spent the first 10 years of her life living with her Aunt and Uncle. They lived in an isolated cottage, and her uncle was a game hunter and wood cutter. She does not know their names, only that her uncle liked to visit her in the night and do terrible things to her. She hated him.
When she was 10 years old, she tried to run from her uncle, fleeing into the forest. He followed her silently, hunting her the same way he hunted the massive deer that roamed those woods. She managed to flee from him for nearly an hour, until he cornered her at the edge of a cliff. When he advanced on her, telling her what horrible, bloody things he would do to her, how he would kill her and do more things, she screamed.
The words were on her tongue before she understood them, but she shouted nonetheless. "Soory, mujhe apana sanrakshak bhejo!" The massive creature climbed up the cliff behind her, shaking the ground as it came. The stone monster grabbed her uncle as he tried to flee, dangling him by one leg to look at him. The helpless man wet himself in fear, and fainted. The beast dropped him and scooped up its summoner, carrying her safely home in the palm of his hand. Jahnavi calls the golem her "guardian" and he is her dear friend, the only one in the world she knows how to trust with her whole heart. She was never frightened of her guardian. She and the guardian share a slight telepathic bond, as he does not speak, but they can understand each other through ideas and images.
Jahnavi was sent to the Haiyang temple the next day, with nothing but the clothes on her back, not even a family name to claim her. She took the name "Vimara" as a portmanteau of the Twin Goddesses name, to say she belongs to them.
She grew up as an orphan in the Haiyang Temple, a special favorite of one of the elderly summoners training the new recruits. He helped her to reign in her wild energy, becoming a controlled force rather than a natural disaster. She is grateful for the training she received there, but since she turned 16, she has lived at a dorm in the Candra temple, attending the library there first as an assistant and now as a full librarian. She almost joined the army since her summon is obviously battle ready, but she did not like the structure or the violence of the soldier culture.
